PAPUA, KOMPAS.TV- The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) was acting up again on Thursday (6/5/2021) so that it was involved in a shootout with the TNI-Polri in the Ilaga area, Puncak, Papua.
The Nemangkawi Task Force (Satgas) has already pocketed the identity of the KKB, which is currently designated as a terrorist organization.
“There are three groups involved. Like the terrorist group (KKB) led by Legakak Telenggen, the Larie Mayu group, and the Mamboan group, “said Head of Public Relations Nemangkawi Kombes Pol M Iqbal Alqudusy in his statement, Friday (7/5/2021).
According to Iqbal, the shootout occurred because the KKB was said to have started the attack first. He said the Papuan KKB deliberately created unrest in Papua.
“They deliberately create terror in society,” he explained.
Furthermore, Iqbal conveyed that Papua’s condition was under control after the firefight. On the other hand, the community has been active as usual.
