jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Danrem 061/Suryakencana Brigadier General Achmad Fauzi had a chance to meet directly with Habib Bahar bin Smith at the Tajul Alawiyin Islamic Boarding School, Bogor, West Java on Friday (31/12).
The two even had time to argue and this incident was caught on camera and the video was widely shared on social media.
However, the video circulating is only a snippet. Brigadier General Achmad admitted to having a long video showing a conversation with Bahar.
JPNN has received two videos in total. The first is six minutes 57 seconds and the second is two minutes 49 seconds.
The second conversation began when Brigadier General Achmad confronted Bahar and advised him not to deliver a provocative talk.
“I hope that as a cleric, I don’t deliver provocative lectures,” said Brigadier General Achmad.
“Provocative like what?” replied Bahar who was wearing a gray jacket and white T-shirt.
Brigadier General Achmad, who at that time was fully clothed, then said in his lecture that Bahar had attacked TNI institutions.
