According to Fuad, it is time for a young man like himself to take part in politics.

“The potential of young people in Surabaya is big, because there are quite a lot of young people in Surabaya. So, at least there are pairs of candidates who must be able to facilitate the wishes of the youth as well, so that these young people can have creativity, and this city. can go forward again, “said Fuad, who is also a PDI-P cadre, when met at a cafe, Surabaya, Friday (14/8/2020).

Fuad’s intention to advance the Surabaya Pilkada was not without preparation. He admitted that he took advantage of the momentum of the moment Risma served as mayor with blusukan to the people of Surabaya, community leaders, to millennials.

Because it is my 10 years in office, I continue to communicate, carry out friendship with the community, and often meet them face to face. Fuad himself wants to make his volunteer team more effective so that they can collaborate with community leaders and Surabaya millennials.

PDI-P itself will only announce a replacement candidate for Tri Rismaharini as mayor of Surabaya on August 19.

This is because August 19 is the schedule for the announcement of the last round of pairs carried out by PDI-P at the 2020 simultaneous regional elections.

“God willing, on August 19, the final stage will be the announcement of the candidate for regional head,” said Kusnadi, Chairman of the East Java PDI-P DPD.
