Jakarta –
After the Aprilia SR-GT 200 was launched in Indonesia in July 2022, detikOto finally had the opportunity to try the Italian scooter unit test. From testing for several days on urban roads, the average fuel consumption rate of the SR-GT 200 is obtained. What are the results?
Aprilia SR-GT is equipped with a 174 cc engine, i-get, 1 cylinder, 4 valve, with a bore x stroke of 61.5 mm x 58.7 mm. The engine produces 17.4 hp of peak power at 8,500 rpm and 16.5 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. The compression ratio of this engine reaches 12.5:1.

With an engine compression ratio of that size, the Aprilia SR-GT is required to use a minimum of fuel with a Research Octane Number (RON) of 95. This means that this motorbike cannot use Pertalite (RON 90) or Pertamax (RON 92) gasoline.
Aprilia SR-GT is recommended to use fuel with RON 95 such as Pertamax Plus. However, since this Pertamax Plus gasoline has not been sold since 2016, the only option is Pertamax Turbo with RON 98 level. We also used Pertamax Turbo in this test.
detikOto conducted the test by covering a total distance of approximately 142 km on the Bekasi – Jakarta route (going home). The traffic conditions of the roads that are passed are of various kinds, from traffic jams to quiet, from bumpy roads to smooth roads.

Another note, the motorbike is driven without paying attention to eco riding or fuel efficient driving, the Idling Stop System feature is also turned off. Oh yes, the detikOto tester weighs 77 kg and the test was carried out without a ride.
From all these factors, the Aprilia SR-GT average fuel consumption is 24 km per liter. So, do you think that number is economical or not?
