In October 2019, Belgian model Caroll Dufailly and businessman Eduardus Groenewegen were kidnapped by a motorcycle gang of six people. Carol and Eduardus were abducted from her home, then forced into a white van.
The motive for the kidnapping was to rob because when they were in the van, the two were interrogated by the code of the safe in their house. Refusing to reveal anything, the pair were driven around for six hours and tortured in the car.
The criminals tied the couple’s hands, and covered their mouths with duct tape. After carrying out the torture, the two were then dumped in the bush. The kidnappers hoped that both of them would die there.
Fortunately, Caroll is still conscious amidst her wounds and pain. Carroll, who is still alive, seeks help to help Eduardus. When he got help, Eduardus was already badly injured in the head, but luckily managed to survive.
In a recently held conference, the six men are now collectively indicted. The motorcycle gang was charged with torture, kidnapping, poisoning, extortion, robbery and imprisonment.
Lawyers for the six men categorically deny involvement in organized crime. Meanwhile, the police claimed that the gang did not deserve an answer due to the abundance of evidence pointing to their plot for the gruesome torture.
