DENPASARUPDATE.COM – In just a matter of months, Covid-19 has spread in various countries and infected more than 26 million people in the world. This shows that Covid-19 is disease which is contagious.
Patient Covid-19 mild and moderate symptoms are contagious disease to others for up to 10 days from the time symptoms appear, according to the Indian Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
While patient Covid-19 has severe to critical symptoms or has a severe immune disorder which tends to be contagious disease to others up to 20 days after symptoms appear.

Asymptomatic patients can also be contagious disease up to 10 days from infection. Past than 10 days, patient unable to transmit Covid-19 to others. However, there are some exceptions.
Despite these differences, experts recommend patient Covid-19 to undergo isolation for 14 days. Patients can return to activities if after 14 days of isolation there are no symptoms and have stable oxygen levels.
There are several things to note patient and family members after patient declared cured of Covid-19. As an example, patient Covid-19, which has been released from the hospital, still has to undergo independent isolation at home for two weeks.
“(They still have to) monitor oxygen levels, body temperature and heart rate independently,” said consultant and pulmonologist intervention expert from Aster RV Hospital, Dr Pavan Yadav, as reported by the press. Times Now News.
