This is the difference between the Xiaomi 11T and the Xiaomi 11T Pro camera specifications

Xiaomi officially launches two of its newest flagship phones, Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro to Indonesia without the “Mi” frills like the previous versions.

The two flagship cellphones are compact with three rear cameras consisting of a 108 MP main camera (f/1.75), an 8 MP ultrawide camera (f/2.2), and a 5 MP telemacro camera (f/2.4). On the front, there is a 16 MP (f / 2.45) selfie camera that is loaded in a punch hole in the top center of the screen.

Country Manager for Xiaomi Indonesia, Alvin Tse, said that one of the differences between the two camera phones is the ability to record videos.

“The camera hardware of these two phones is actually identical. However, due to differences in chipsets, variants Xiaomi 11T The Pro supports 8K 30fps and HDR10+ video recording modes,” said Alvin.

Xiaomi 11T the regular version carries a video recording mode with the Mediatek 1200-Ultra chipset, stuck at 4K 30 fps. Different from Xiaomi 11T Pro that can record 8K 30 videos.

Because of that, Xiaomi 11T The Pro carries the Snapdragon 888 chipset and 4K 60 fps recording mode, in addition to 30 fps. Front camera Xiaomi 11T The Pro also supports 1080p 60 fps video recording, while the regular variant only supports 1080p 30 fps.

Camera Xiaomi 11T and the 11T Pro is also equipped with an electronic video stabilizer (EIS) feature, without an optical image stabilizer (OIS).

“The OIS module will slightly increase the cost of making mobile phones, where in the Xiaomi T Series, we want to reduce the price so that it is not expensive and consumers can buy it,” explained Alvin.

In addition, the presence of OIS will also increase the dimensions of the thickness of the camera module (camera bump).

“For example, the Mi 11 Ultra has a good camera equipped with OIS, but the camera module is very thick and makes the top back of the phone look lame with the bottom,” added Alvin.

Regarding the price itself, Xiaomi 11T sold in Indonesia with a tag of Rp. 6 million (8 GB/256 GB), while Xiaomi 11T The Pro is sold for Rp. 7 million (8 GB/256 GB) and Rp. 7.5 million (12 GB/256 GB).

This figure is much more affordable than the launch price of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which is also equipped with the Snapdragon 888 chipset, at IDR 17 million.

The prices of the two new phones are also more or less the same as the prices of the Mi 10T and 10T Pro when they first entered Indonesia in 2020, namely Rp. 6 million (6 GB/128 GB) and 7 million (8 GB/256 GB).
