North Sumatra Police (North Sumatra) revealed the beginning of the alleged abuse by unscrupulous members Kutalimbaru Police against the wife of a suspect. Police said it started with the disclosure of drug cases.
“It is true that this began with the disclosure of drug cases. After that, this was his arrest on May 4, 2021,” said Head of the North Sumatra Police Propam, Kombes Donald Simanjuntak to reporters, Tuesday (26/10/2021).
“Two male suspects were arrested and one was taken into custody whose identity was not yet known,” said Donald.
Donald did not explain in detail who was detained. However, he said after a formal complaint from his lawyer, his party then investigated the case.
“Well, after yesterday there was an official complaint from his lawyer, we are just investigating this, according to what was reported to us,” said Donald.
Donald admitted that apart from the suspects, during the arrest of the drug case, the reporter was also detained by the authorities Kutalimbaru Police. “At that time the whistleblower was also arrested,” said Donald.
Donald said that currently his party was continuing to conduct inspections. If the incident is proven, the person Kutalimbaru Police it will be fired.
“We are still conducting an examination first, because there are several witnesses that we must ask for information, if the evidence is proven later, of course the penalty is that we carry out a code of ethics with PTDH sanctions (disrespectful dismissal),” explained Donald.
Donald also said that the officers were still investigating whether there was an agreement until the complainant wanted to be picked up by the person in his boarding house. So far, said Donald, the reporter has not explained in detail regarding this matter.
“We are still investigating this. According to the reporter’s own statement, for now it has not been explained in detail what the reason is so that they can be together in the hotel to have intercourse. This is still being investigated,” explained Donald.
In addition, Donald confirmed that from the results of the examination. It is suspected that the victim was pregnant.
“At that time, according to the information we got, the victim was actually pregnant,” said Donald.
