Back in the year 2000, when I was on my honeymoon in Maui, my husband Bill and I loved staying at the Ritz-Carlton Double. To this day, we continue talking –and salivating– about something worth mentioning there: the Club Lounge. Essentially a “home within a hotel,” this luxurious, world-class ballroom was nothing short of spectacular: from the gorgeous stemware etched with the Ritz-Carlton logo, to the tremendous chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies, to the lunches and desserts. We look forward to going back and experiencing everything about the Ritz, especially the Club Loungewith your dedicated concierge who makes it all possible.
And now, I understand, I may not have to travel all the way to Hawaii to fulfill that delicious dream.
recently opened, The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMadhas unveiled the Suite The Ritz-Carlton, the 250-room hotel’s master suite, plus The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge. The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad towers 500 feet above Manhattan and has introduced a new level of modern luxury to this dynamic neighborhood. With the addition of The Ritz-Carlton Suite and Club Lounge, guests can now enjoy the ultimate Ritz-Carlton experience.
All it takes is a quick Acela ride from Boston to New York.
The suite is new and has access to the club lounge which has been open for a few months as there are other rooms on the floor. The suite costs $20,000 a night and offers five complimentary culinary offerings throughout the day: breakfast, lunch, afternoon treats, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and desserts and cordials, all served by the Chef Jose Andresawarded with a Michelin star, and his culinary team.
“The official launch of The Ritz-Carlton Suite and The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge provides another layer of indulgence for our guests,” said Bastian Germer, Managing Director of The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad. “The exclusivity of these iconic spaces allows guests to experience the city from new heights like nowhere else in New York.”
Located in the planta 37, the Ritz-Carlton Suite enjoys panoramic views of Manhattan, from the Empire State Building to downtown Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. The sprawling 2,100-square-foot one-bedroom suite is complete with a host of luxurious amenities, including a private wellness room with a bicycle Pelotondistinct separate living and dining areas, a media room, a 200-square-foot walk-in closet, and an impressive Terrazzo marble bathroom with soaking tub and double rain shower.
The residential-style suite features elegantly appointed spaces and abundant natural light. The neutral, earth-toned color palette emphasizes the passage of time and echoes the checkered layout of New York. The Ritz-Carlton Suite can be combined with an Empire State Double Room to form a 2,700-square-foot Two-Bedroom Suite.
I hope there’s a chocolate macadamia cookie in my future. And in yours too.
