The call to prayer with a microphone in the middle of Tower Bridge London echoed in the heart of metropolitan London.
Citing Arab News, the call to prayer echoed by Rahman imitated the style of the head of the muezzin of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Ali Ahmad Mulla. Rahman appeared wearing thobe white and ghutra Saudi Arabia.
“I am just an ordinary individual and for me to be blessed with such an opportunity is humbling,” Rahman said.
“Azan is a powerful message and I’m sending it around the world via social media,” he said.
In 2020, Rahman performs the Adhan at London’s Canary Wharf, in the heart of the city’s financial district. The response Rahman received through social media inspired him to continue appearing in public.
“The impact of last year’s call to prayer was extraordinary, the video reached millions of viewers,” said Rahman.

He was asked to show his skills again this year, to mark the conclusion of an interfaith meeting hosted by real estate firm Tower Hamlets Homes and East London Mosque.
The organizations meet on Friday for the Tower Hamlets Interfaith Forum, which brings together local residents of various faiths. The event aims to facilitate better communication and understanding between different religions, in the London environment.
