NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz met with the press in Berlin on Thursday morning.
Here Stoltenberg thanked Scholz for his strong leadership and for supporting Ukriana in so many different ways and for diplomatic talks in an attempt to stop this war.
– This is Putin’s war and he must stop it. NATO has a responsibility to prevent this war from escalating further, says Stoltenberg.
The NATO chief says Putin is now paying a high price.
– The sanctions damage his war machinery, says Stoltenberg.
