Throw your vacation plans overboard, because the open beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will probably start on August 15th. This date has not been officially confirmed, however, Amazon accidentally leaked this date. This date was briefly seen on Amazon’s site, stating that PlayStation gamers can start the beta on August 15.
An official date has not yet been announced by developer Infinity Ward, but it seems that it is correct. The date has since been removed from the product page.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is out October 28 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
