Attention Düsseldorf film buffs: Do you love watching films on the big screen, but the price of cinema tickets is often too expensive for you? Then you should 7 and 8 September Make a note in your calendar. Because on these days the 2024 cinema festival will take place in the NRW state capital.

This is a promotional weekend where you can watch a film of your choice in all participating cinemas nationwide for just 5 euros per screening. UCI Düsseldorf and Neuss

The UCI cinema in Düsseldorf’s Media Harbour is taking part in the cinema festival again this year. You can look forward to the Pixar blockbuster “Inside Out 2”, the Minions’ latest trick in “Despicable Me 4” and the current Marvel film “Deadpool & Wolverine”.

The event will also see the French hit film “What is normal?” being shown for the first time in German cinemas. In our neighboring country, the film has already thrilled over nine million people. The cinema chain CineStar is also taking part in the cinema festival this year. Films such as “Daffy Duck”, “Trap”, “200% Wolf”, “Longlegs, Alien: Romulus” and “Beetlejuice” will be shown. There is also a Disney Channel interactive cinema for the little ones.

Studio Cinema Ratingen

If you prefer to enjoy your films in a convivial atmosphere, you should pay a visit to the Studio Kino in Ratingen. The cinema is easy to reach from Düsseldorf using the U72 subway line (stop: Ratingen Mitte).
