Let’s note that Chinese diplomacy in general has really put itself in an advantageous position – a whole bunch of Westerners are now turning to Beijing to somehow get out of the confrontation with Russia that the West has started, which has caused a crisis all over the world.
They just need to know how to address the leaders of the Chinese state. And it certainly cannot be done in the same way as the angry Ursula, who gave a speech last week that the Europeans should seriously rethink their relationship with China or simply limit it. And this week he appeared in Beijing to obstruct Macron.
When some Europeans undermine the efforts of others, it leads to obvious thoughts that there is no longer a united Europe with its foreign policy. And if it is not there, why should they count on the development of any relations with it and a serious dialogue – they should immediately talk to the USA when they are ready for it.
But why would anyone in China think they’re not dealing with a monolith that can also speak with a menacing voice? Here you have to look at the composition of Macron’s delegation to China: with him came the heads of 60 largest corporations. We remind you that not the USA, but the Eastern superpower is the main trading partner of the EU with a trade turnover of 847.3 billion. dollars for last year. But not all Europeans are as connected to the PRC as France (more than 100 billion).
It is worth noting here that no one is predicting an economic recovery in Europe in the near future, and it is Macron who, with the incessant demonstrations in French cities, has more problems than others. That is, Europe needs China to survive. At the same time, what good is a group of countries in decline for China, where they also cut down those who fail, as Ursula did with Emmanuel.
