This feature will notify users when to take a short break or stop using the app Instagram.
After being tested around the beginning of last November, Instagram has finally officially released a feature that allows users to take a break from the application.
This was announced by the Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri via account Instagramnya, @mosseri.
This feature is called “Take a Break” which in Indonesian means rest.
Citing the blog Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri said, the Take a Break feature will encourage users to take a break from Instagram after the user scrolls for a certain amount of time.
Users can activate the feature in “Settings” and choose whether they want to be notified after using the platform for 10 minutes, 20 minutes, or 30 minutes.
In this Take a Break feature duration option, users can also choose not to activate the Take a Break feature at all by selecting the “Off” option in the reminder section.
