Michael Jordan has disbursed 70 million dollars for a luxurious private jet which pays homage to the basketball great’s famous range of Nike shoes.
Shortly after spending $2 million on a one-of-a-kind Italian sports car, Jordan spent even more money on a stunning new plane with a custom paint job worth $500,000.
The plane of six-time NBA champion is a Gulfstream 650ER, which holds the record for the “fastest and furthest flight in the history of commercial aviation,” according to its website.
He opted for a silver and black theme after spending six figures on his own custom paint job, which resembles a pair of his elephant-print ‘Air Jordan’ sneakers.
The iconic Jumpman logo Jordan It also appears on the outside of the back in a huge white print to finish off the design.

The tail number, N236MJ, incorporates the number 23 jersey he made famous throughout his legendary career, as well as his championship ring number, followed by his initials.

Inside, Jordan’s new luxurious plane can accommodate up to 19 passengers and four crew members.
