This is how you can activate your stimulus check debit card

On October 7 of last year, inflation stimulus checks began in the United States. Since then, thousands of people have been holding their debit cards without activating them, that is, without using them.It is estimated that nearly 1.2 million inactive cards worth approximately $600 million remain unused today.

Although, if it is a white card with the seal of the State of California and it was never activated, now is the time to do it.

However, it should be noted that since mid-September, 5,000 new inflation stimulus check cards began shipping. Therefore, various aid could still be on the way.

Realistically, many beneficiaries who received a debit card never took advantage of the money from the inflation stimulus check.

The main reason why this happened is that they also did not know that they had said money at their fingertips. Additionally, some were left unactivated because their owners thought it was a scam.

Also because their owners threw them away thinking it was advertising or they distrusted the return address of the envelope in which they arrived.

Another option that points to non-activation is that apparently they had problems doing so or thought they had not requested one.

If this is the case, how can it be activated?

People who received a second letter from the California Board of Taxation likely have an inflation stimulus check card. Therefore, this can serve as a reminder to activate it.

To activate it, the first thing you must do is call 800-240-0223. Here you will need the 16 numbers of the debit card you received and the three security numbers on the back.

They will also need the last six digits of your Social Security Number and the last six numbers of your ITIN.

On the other hand, they must create a four-number PIN that only the owners know and finally verify their identity data.
