As announced earlier this year, a new era will arrive in Argentine soccer with the inclusion of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in the Professional Soccer League.
This system, which is already used in most European leagues, will come to stay in the Argentine tournament and will begin to be used from the eighth date.
Given this situation, the League, the Argentine Football Association and the National Arbitration Directorate explained through social networks in which cases the VAR will be used and how it will be applied, so that, from now on, there are no doubts.
The four situations that will be reviewed will be to define a goal/no goal, identify the players cautioned in the event of a yellow or red card, define a penalty and sanction with a red card in case the referee does not notice any dangerous play.
