Ordering eSIM Smartfren can be made on the Smartfren web or by downloading the MySmartfren application via the Apple AppStore. Next, customers will be asked to register first, choose the Smartfren 90GB eSIM package, and choose the desired number themselves.
After this order is confirmed, the customer will get a QR Code to be scanned and pair the Smartfren number as an eSIM on the iPhone. Apart from buying a new eSIM, customers can also change their physical SIM card to an eSIM by coming directly to the nearest Smartfren Gallery.

Meanwhile, Smartfren has presented eSIM since September 2019. However, the mobile operator is still silent about the number of users.
“Indeed there is no definite figure regarding that because our focus is customer satisfaction for this platform,” said Chief Brand Officer of Smartfren, Robert Saputra, on the same occasion.
The aim of Smartfren in launching eSIM technology, continued Robert, is to add to the user experience because eSIM is something new in Indonesia.

Robert revealed that Smartfren has gone through the eSIM trial phase by cooperating with Apple using an iPhone. eSim Smartfren can be used for iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max and the latest iPhone SE. By adding the Smartfren eSIM to this type of iPhone, customers can turn it into a DUAL SIM smartphone.
