Officials from the Ciudad Bolívar Municipal Delegation captured a dangerous member of the criminal gang “Los Brailys” in Bolívar state.

The subject in detention was identified as Gabriel Alejandro Mendoza Sánchez, 20 years old.
The director of the Center for Scientific, Penal and Forensic Investigations, CICPC, Douglas Rico, reported this.
Through a publication on his Instagram account, Rico pointed out that Mendoza is a member of “Los Brailys”.
The arrest of the subject was carried out in the Brisas del Sur III sector, Urdaneta street, José Antonio Páez parish.
It is located in the Angostura del Orinoco municipality, Ciudad Bolívar, in the Bolívar state.

After the respective investigations, it was learned that Mendoza in the company of the other members of the band.
Those who are not yet identified and are on the run.
They entered the houses to rob with a firearm and if they resisted the robbery they were assassinated.
Additionally, the CICPC reported that this gang operates in several parishes in the city.
Among them La Sabanita, Vista Hermosa, Agua Salada, José Antonio Páez, Catedral and Marhuanta.
As well as the determination that “Los Brailys” are associated with 14 files for the crimes of robbery, aggravated robbery and intentional homicide in Bolívar.
Rico also reported that Mendoza was already wanted for aggravated robbery and intentional homicide.

The director of the publication ended his publication by assuring that the case was left to the order of the First Prosecutor of the Public Ministry of Ciudad Bolívar.
