Krefeld The theater gets going: there have never been so many premieres in such a short time in Gladbach. From Saturday the curtain will rise again in the theater.

The model commune makes it possible: From Saturday the curtain will rise again in the theater. On Thursday afternoon, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia gave the green light for demonstrations in Mönchengladbach. Five premieres in six days are planned. “We have never had such a density of premieres in Mönchengladbach,” says Sabine Mund, spokeswoman for the theater. The theater can offer 190 seats per performance. All performances last a maximum of 90 minutes and have no break. That is listed:

Saturday, May 22nd, 7.30 p.m .: The opérette bouffe “Salon Pitzelberger & Co.” with music by Jacques Offenbach marks the beginning. The German version of the text is by Ulrich Proschka.

Sunday, May 23, 7:30 p.m.: The ballet company shows in the piece with the fitting title “Alles neu” what it has trained in the past few weeks. The choreographies are by Robert North, Marco A. Carlucci, Takashi Kondo and Yoko Takahashi.

Monday, May 24th, 7.30 p.m .: Mozart with a difference in a world premiere. In the musical play “Welttheater Mozart” by Karine van Hercke and Francois de Carpentries, there are unknown sides of the musical genius to be discovered.

Safety precautions Wearing an FFP2 mask in the theater is compulsory, all hygiene rules apply. Visitors must show a negative corona test, which must not be older than 48 hours, or they are fully vaccinated or have recovered and have proof of this. The gastronomy remains closed. Contact tracking also works digitally. The theater asks the audience to register in the theater using the Corona warning app by scanning a QR code.

Tickets Advance sales begin on Friday, May 21, 10 a.m. both online and at the box office. The ticket office is open from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Whit Sunday and Whit Monday only the box office opens to pick up tickets that have already been pre-ordered. Subscribers receive the admission tickets at their subscription price.
