Took simple grips
Recently, broker Synne Eide Lunde sold a home where the total cost of upgrading came to just over 5,000 kroner. The home belonged to a student. The apartment was functional and adapted to his needs. But when he was going to sell, Lunde suggested taking some action so that the home appealed to larger buying groups.
The seller chose to have a consultation session with the stylist, who suggested color codes for new paint. Then he did the work himself, in collaboration with Lunde.
In addition to new paint, the seller was given a list of things he had to buy or borrow to decorate the apartment before viewing. Among other things, the carpet and table in the living room were replaced. In one room, the desk was thrown out and a bed was put in its place. The patio also got a facelift.
