After the truck strike, the National Government announced that the change in the price of ACPM will be shown today, based on the agreements reached by the Government with the transport union.
Between August 31 and September 6, the price of a gallon of ACPM was $11,630. With the approved change, which means a net increase of $400, the gallon will remain at $9,856 as of today.
The new situation
In the official communication, it is also announced that according to the commitment document signed by the National Government and freight and passenger transport agents, the next change will be $400 per gallon and will be effective from December 1, 2024 .
The commitment to the freight and passenger transport sector establishes a total increase of $800 in the price of a gallon of ACPM by the end of 2024. This change will be divided into two parts: $400 on September 7 and an additional $400 from September December 1, 2024.
