Another season is approaching Apex Legends. The tenth round of new content for the battle royale game will be released on August 3, and before the doors open, Respawn has shared more about what players can expect.

A new trailer for the season – which goes by the name Emergence – shows among other things the new hero Seer. The mysterious figure is very reminiscent of Bloodhound, with opportunities to track down enemies in different ways. He also has a feature that interrupts opponents’ use of health or shield items, so they must begin the process again.
Furthermore, a huge overhaul of the World’s Edge map awaits. The earth’s crust has cracked even more cracks, where players can fall straight into the lava. In addition, Respawn has thrown a lot of snow north on the map, while new cable cars make it easier to get from place to place.
Last season’s introduction of arena matches to Apex Legends has apparently also been successful. Respawn is now expanding its offer, with more maps and ranked matches for those who want to measure forces in the more action-packed 3-on-3 mode.
There will also be ranked battles in battle royale mode. According to Respawn, there will be no major changes here, and players will, as usual, hunt for Apex Predator. Finally, the Emergence update entices with a new weapon and another battle pass with various cosmetics to unlock.
EA has also revealed more about the next Battlefield game.
