A video circulating on social networks shows the moment when Aristotle Sandoval is assassinated, but from outside the District 5 bar of Vallarta Port.
The video shows the façade of the site, and a series of detonations of small arms are heard, for a pause and then the roar of long weapons can be heard again. This coincides with the chronology of the events that occurred on December 18, in which Aristotle Sandoval was assassinated.
According to the authorities, the crime was committed at 01:40 hours, when the former governor went to the bathroom. A subject who apparently was waiting for him sitting inside the site, followed him and shot him. Just over 50 seconds later the ex-president’s bodyguards wanted to take him to a hospital. However, they were intercepted by armed subjects, who shot them.
Aristotle Sandoval It was declared dead at the San Javier Hospital. Although the legal autopsy data have not been known, everything indicates that the cause of his death was the firearm wounds he received.
According to the Government of Jalisco, Aristóteles Sandoval was already in serious condition at the hospital. So far no criminal group has been identified responsible for the acts.
