Bayern Munich meets Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig hosts Eintracht Frankfurt. The DFB Cup round of 16 has two absolute hits to offer. Third division team Arminia Bielefeld hosts SC Freiburg, while 1. FC Köln and Hertha BSC as well as VFL Wolfsburg and TSG Hoffenheim are dueling. Second division team Darmstadt 98 is a guest at Werder Bremen, runner-up VfB Stuttgart travels to Jahn Regensburg and FC Augsburg faces Karlsruher SC.

The games in the DFB Cup round of 16 will take place later this year. The eight games will be played during the week on December 3rd and 4th (Tuesday and Wednesday). The quarter-finals will then continue in the new year (February 4th/5th and 25th/26th), which will be spread over several weeks. The semi-finals in the DFB Cup are scheduled for April 1st and 2nd. The final takes place on May 24th, traditionally in the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
