This is how the Chicago Bulls fired Derrick Rose, the youngest NBA MVP

American basketball player Derrick Rose, the youngest NBA MVPannounced his retirement in a statement transmitted to the American magazine The Atlantic, before publishing a photo on his Instagram account for his fans.

“The next chapter is dedicated to chasing my dreams and sharing my growth,” Derrick Rose, 35, who was elected MVP in 2011 at just 22 years old, told The Atlantic. He is therefore the youngest player to have achieved this recognition in the American basketball league.

After sixteen seasons, in which he has worn the colors of the Chicago Bulls, los New York Knicks y los Cleveland Cavaliers Among others, the player announces his retirement wishing to “show the world” that he is “beyond the world of basketball.”

On his Instagram account, Rose published an image in which he appears in front of a chess board holding a diary, in which a message to basketball is written.

“Thank you, my first love, you have believed in me through the ups and downs, when everything seemed uncertain. “You made sure that every morning and afternoon we spent together was worth every drop of sweat,” it is written.

Knee injuries affected his career, especially a serious tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in 2012.
