The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are Samsung’s first waterproof and simultaneously foldable mobiles, and the manufacturer recently unveiled a behind-the-scenes video showcasing interesting moments from their stress.
Prior to release, very rigorous tests are performed at the manufacturer. According to the information, the devices must be able to withstand 200,000 folds without any damage, which means more than 100 folds per day for up to 5 years.
During the environmental chamber test, the devices are tested in extreme weather conditions, in hot, cold, dry or humid weather. In addition, the devices are submerged and thoroughly tested with the S Pen. However, they note that it is not recommended to immerse the equipment in salt water or a pool (due to chemicals).
