Prince Harry visits
Prince Harry (40) continued his visit to Lesotho. The Duke of Sussex, who co-founded a youth charity there in 2006 in honor of his late mother, Princess Diana (1961-1997), started his trip to the African country on Tuesday (October 1st).
The royal met young people with whom he exchanged ideas over an evening campfire. In other snaps, the 40-year-old can be seen walking through nature with a group of people and taking part in an event run by his charity Sentebale. The Duke of Sussex also met his old friend Prince Seeiso again. He founded the organization with him. “Sentebale” supports children and young people who are living with HIV or who are at risk of HIV.
Prince Harry is also coming to South Africa – shortly before William
On Wednesday, Prince Harry also paid a visit to the Prime Minister of Lesotho, Sam Matekane (66), according to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”. According to the report, he will also visit Johannesburg in neighboring South Africa on his four-day trip to the region. He is visiting the country just a few weeks before his brother Prince William (42). The Prince of Wales is expected to attend the Earthshot Awards 2024 in Cape Town on November 6th.
Prince Harry’s trip to Lesotho and South Africa will take place without his wife Duchess Meghan (43) and their two children Archie (5) and Lilibet (3), who did not previously accompany the Duke on his visits to New York City and Great Britain. The 40-year-old was in London at the end of September for the WellChild Awards, but is said not to have met his father or brother William. Since 2020, King Charles’ son (75) has been living with his family in Montecito, California.
