Inflation with the sky-high energy prices is hitting Flemish families hard. This is apparent from a broad survey of the Gezinsbond. “Forty percent of those surveyed have a hard time making ends meet. For single parents this is even seventy percent. We have not seen those high figures in recent decades,” says director Jeroen Sleurs.
