Over $ 1 million per post –
That’s how much celebrities make on Instagram
–
When they’re not promoting their own products on Instagram, companies have to dig deep into their pockets if they want to appear on celebrities’ social media channels. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez are so princely paid for their advertising postings on Instagram.
Take a look at the photo above. This is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Currently the highest paid actor in the world. No wonder that he also has his advertising posts on Instagram paid accordingly. So you see above a photo that is worth $ 1.52 million. “The Rock” has an advertising deal with the water manufacturer “Voss”, there are also postings for the sportswear brand Under Armor and of course a lot of advertising for its own products: An energy drink without sugar and tequila.
Platz 1: Cristiano Ronaldo
The King of Instagram is also the king of advertising revenue if a company wants to see its product on the kicker’s Instagram account. Unbelievable 1.6 million dollars are transferred to the account of the Portuguese for each advertising posting. He advertises an anti-dandruff shampoo, a sports live ticker app, Nike, his CR7 underpants and a hair transplant clinic in Madrid.

Platz 2: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
With revenues of over $ 1.5 million per advertising posting on Instagram, “The Rock” topped the list of celebs who make a lot of cash on social media. Until Cristiano Ronaldo came around the corner and stole the crown from him.

3rd place: Ariana Grande
3rd place goes to Ariana Grande. For example, she has promotional deals with cosmetics giant MAC, Reebok, Givenchy and Samsung. 1.510.000 Dollar are available per posting with an advertising background. And because Ariana Grande mainly shares photos from her tour life, from her private photo album or from video shoots, you have to search a long time before you find an advertising post. It’s also going very well for the singer: She earns millions on the side with her perfumes.
–
4th place: Kylie Jenner
In fourth place is Kylie Jenner, the youngest self-made billionaire in the world. Your account is filled to the brim with every advertising mail 1.494.000 Dollar. Of course, she mainly advertises products from her Kylie Cosmetics line for her 255 million followers on Instagram, but here and there an advertising mail creeps in: For example for Adidas, gummy bears that are supposed to be good for the hair or for a toy store where she is shopping her Christmas presents for daughter Stormi (is clear!).
–
5th place: Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez took fifth place. Justin Bieber’s ex gets an advertising post on Instagram 1.468.000 Dollar. It advertises Puma, Coach handbags and Coca Cola. And of course the drum is being promoted for their own brands and investments: Rare Beauty and an ice cream company.
–
6th place: Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian ranks 6th with earnings of 1.419.000 Dollar per advertising posting on her Instagram channel. In an earlier interview, she already revealed vaguely that it was absurd to get more money for an Instagram post than for a full season of “Keeping up with the Kardashians”. The Hopper portal has now published the relevant figures. Ms. Kardashian mainly advertises her own products: Whether it’s home and shapewear, or perfume or make-up. There are not even story highlights for the products of other companies. Companies have to dig deep into their pockets for a story that disappears forever after 24 hours.
7th place: Lionel Messi
The kicker can post advertising on his Instagram channel 1.169.000 Dollar pay. But he also advertises almost everything: from chips to Pepsi, his own web shop and watches, to Adidas, beer and a mobile phone game.
–
8th place: Beyoncé
Eighth place goes to Beyoncé, after all 1.147.000 Dollar per advertising posting on Instagram. Peanuts for the singer, whose net worth is estimated at half a billion dollars. Queen Bey therefore mainly advertises herself with various photo series – or her own collaborations, for example with Adidas.
–
9th place: Justin Bieber
1.112.000 Dollar refer companies to Justin Bieber if he should promote their product on his Instagram channel. What stands out: Justin Bieber currently doesn’t seem to be interested in advertising postings on his album. Much more, he prefers to advertise his own clothing brand, show photos with his wife Hailey or report on charity events at which he collects money.
–
10th place: Kendall Jenner
10th place goes to Kendall Jenner, Kylie’s older sister. And because everyone in the Kardashian-Jenner clan needs their own business, Kendall sells tequila. There is also advertising for a whitening toothpaste for Calvin Klein, Versace, or Adidas. 1.053.000 Dollar is available for each advertising posting on the account.
–
Platz 11: Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift, who uses advertising posts on her Instagram account, lands in 11th place 1.012.000 Dollar lets pay. But because the good one deletes her entire Instagram album from time to time, there are currently no advertising postings to be found there.
Platz 12: Jennifer Lopez
12th place goes to Jennifer Lopez, who, unlike Taylor Swift, likes to sell advertising space on her Instagram account. There she advertises wellness gummy bears, sunglasses, an American shoe store chain, coffee and of course her own beauty line. Companies pay per posting with J.Lo and their product 988.000 Dollar.
–
What stands out: More and more celebrities are moving their promotional posts into their stories to maintain the aesthetics of their feed. In addition, companies have the opportunity to buy a place in the “highlights” of the celebrities: All previous story postings can be archived there.
