The law authorizing abortion in Argentina was approved on December 30 and, on January 14, it was promulgated by President Alberto Fernandez. Thus, from the 24th of this month it will come into effect.
Miriam Ferreyra, director of the Provincial Program for Sexual and Reproductive Health, spoke with SITIO ANDINO and explained how Mendoza is preparing. “We are going to work on the regulation quickly and in February we will have a protocol that will be implemented nationally, the same as in the whole country will be used”, indic.
