This is how Luxembourg’s first vaccination center works

As of Wednesday, around 12,000 people had been vaccinated at the Victor Hugo Hall. Operations in the first vaccination center are still running on the back burner – but that should change soon.

The Victor Hugo Hall has served many purposes. The most recent use is likely to be the most unusual to date: it took only three weeks to build at the end of December the first corona vaccination center in the country opened.

The functional building Victor-Hugo-Halle, once the first exhibition space of the Luxembourg “Foire”, may not have a very “homely” charisma, but it fulfills its purpose: to vaccinate as many people as possible in the shortest possible time.

Only those who have previously received a written invitation and registered via the state Internet portal MyGuichet will be vaccinated.
