The format of the Second Division will be through two phases of all against all. In the event that a team wins both phases, it will be declared champion automatically. If there are different winners in Phase 1 and Phase 2, and apart from being the first of the accumulated, they will play a final for the title.
After the regular phase, there will be a Reduced for the Promotion among the clubs that finish between the 2nd and 7th of League 2. Those playoffs will be played in October and the winner will face the 16th of League 1 in November for a place in the First Division.
