Will be out again next year John Wick: Chapter 4 in cinemas worldwide. The film is currently being shot in Paris, Berlin, Japan and New York City, among others. Lionsgate will then get to work on the ‘event trilogy’ The Continental.
The Continental will be some sort of TV miniseries or movie trilogy, and it was announced back in July 2017. Now the plans seem to really come true with a budget of $ 20 million per part.
Wanted protagonist The Continental
Now the search has started for an actor of about 31 years old. The character plays someone who “pretending to be someone he’s not. Winston’s dark past will be revealed with his greatest strength, and weapon, and that turns out to be his mind.” The actor should look like someone like Mank-actor Tom Pelphrey.
They are also looking for the 17 year old “Young Charon”. He works for a crime boss named Cormack, the enemy of yet another criminal named Frankie. He’s Winston’s brother again.
Looking for more actors
Other wanted characters include Yen (Frankie’s wife), Katherine Decker (an agent investigating The Continental), Mayhew (Decker’s boss), and Uncle Charlie. The latter is presumably a younger version of the main-series character who cleans up murder locations for criminals.
The series of, among others, director Albert Hughes (The Book of Eli) is set in the 1970s and we get to see The Continental take shape as the safe haven for hitmen. Keanu Reeves is logically not visible.
