For 23 years Karolina did not give interviews. She avoided the topic of “Big Brother”. She was bound by a contract that did not allow her to reveal facts that were inconvenient for the production.. She needed time until the validity of the signed document expired, and she herself could reveal the darkest secrets without any scruples. She did it for us today. Especially for Świat Gwiazd – at the invitation of Mateusz Szymkowiak – Karolina Pachniewicz flew from Manchester, England to Warsaw.
What TVN viewers were convinced of at the time was a blatant lie. Karolina confessed that at the time when Grzesiek and Janusz were nominated, she started to feel not so well. She had depression. The psychologist she met recommended that she leave the Big Brother house.. What did Karolina hear from the creators of “Big Brother”? She described to us what their conversations looked like.
“That now is such a great time, because it’s the halfway point. It’ll look great. Because I think you simply can’t handle it mentally.” Well, okay, I can go out tomorrow, for example. And he says: “No, no, no. Let’s wait, let everyone have their own show. Now Grzesiek or Janusz will go out. Come out on Sunday after them. And that’s what happened. It just fit the script,” Pachniewicz confessed with a bitter smile.
But Karolina experienced a real shock only after she left the program.
And it was such a manipulation, that this Grzesiek… That I married Grzesiek and Grzesiek is waiting with these flowers. And it was all arranged – Karolina began to tell about the next lies.

The relationship between Karolina Pachniewicz and Grzegorz Mielec was an invention of TVN
Mateusz Szymkowiak asked Karolina directly, was she in a relationship with Grzegorz Mielec. As it turned out, this too was a fabrication by the station. Pachniewicz was only mildly charmed by it:
But Grzegorz told me right after we left that he had a girlfriend. And that unfortunately, nothing would connect us. Then the TVN management or the relevant PR people told us: “Listen. (And this is of course a pattern repeated in many other countries and on other programmes) Be together. Pretend. This will definitely translate into some contracts, covers, etc. So we… did it. We were young, we didn’t know show business. We listened to those who gave us good advice,” Pachniewicz says now with irony.

This week Gregory Mielec gave an interview to the Noizz portal. In it, he talked about his current life. A former resident of the Big Brother house he has been making a life for himself in Brazil for two decades.
Next year, I will celebrate two decades since I got on a plane a little before Christmas and came here not for a vacation, but for good. For a dozen or so years, I worked in São Paulo for the Polish Culture House of Prince Sanguszko. There, I was involved in promoting Poland in Brazil on various levels. […]. At one point I even received a medal from the Minister of Culture for this – Mielec recalled in an interview.
Initially, he also worked in advertising agencies, and also starred in a Brazilian series. For some time now, he has had a permanent, stable job there: is a representative of a Wrocław-based company from the energy sector from hydroelectric power plants.
Here we sell installations that protect fish from getting into the turbines that power such power plants. I have just finished a month-long or even a bit longer tour of the country for this purpose. It is a very interesting job for me, because it involves frequent travel, during which I cover thousands of kilometers – excited Grzegorz.
Mielec has put down roots in Brazil. He is happy, he pursues his passions, he has the opportunity to travel a lot. She also boldly shows photos of herself with a very handsome companion.. What he really appreciates about the local society is that it is open, curious about the world and very friendly.
