KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The government is reportedly planning to allow cinemas to resume operations. This can be good news for cinema issuer PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk (BLTZ).
Head of Sales and Marketing PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk (BLTZ) Diana Abbas said there had been discourse that cinemas would reopen. However, he said BLTZ was still waiting for an official announcement from the government. “Currently, we are still waiting for the government’s appeal,” Diana said to Kontan.co.id, Sunday (12/9).
Diana explained, BLTZ had prepared operational readiness when cinemas were re-opened in terms of preventing the spread of COVID-19. First, the readiness of health protocols such as temperature checks, social distancing, provide hand sanitizer to employee vaccinations.

Second, the readiness of official regulations that are planned to require the public to prepare PeduliLindung applications and vaccine certificates when visiting the cinema. Third, the readiness of regulations if it only accepts 50% of visitors. Lastly, transaction readiness cashless to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
Meanwhile from the side product and service, BTLZ prepared the presentation of a series of selected films. Then, a series of event offline which BLTZ has worked on if the situation is more conducive, such as the Korea Indonesia Film Festival 2021 (KIFF).
Third, BLTZ launched the “One Bag Popcorn” product in Super Jumbo size which can be refilled upon next arrival. “Currently, we from the cinema are very ready, we just have to follow the policies and decisions of the government,” he concluded.
For information, until now BLTZ has a total of 68 CGV cinemas with 397 screens spread over 30 cities in Indonesia.
