This is how Alan Wake is remastered – watch the first trailer

During Thursday’s PlayStation Direct broadcast, we got our first real glimpse of the Alan Wake renovation as was announced a few days ago. You are looking over the trailer.

Alan Wake Remastered will be released on October 5th. The game will be available for PC (Epic Game Store only), in addition to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One this fall. This new edition of the game is released by Epic Games, after the companies entered into an agreement last year.

The revamped edition includes the main game and the two expansions The Signal and The Writer. On the renovation side, the new release features 4K resolution, and a new commentary track from director Sam Lake.

A critically acclaimed horror game

Alan Wake cemented its place as one of the Xbox 360’s strongest horror games when it came out in 2010. The horror game was about the author of the same name who is looking for his wife after she has disappeared, but quickly dug herself into a more Stephen King-inspired plot , quirky divided into episodes along the way.

We enjoyed the game very much when it came out in 2010, and especially boasted of the mood.

– Remedy shows once again how good they are at telling stories and creating atmosphere, and combine this with rock solid game mechanics. Alan Wake contains some of the most intense sequences I have experienced in any game so far, and it simply has to be experienced. But in the same way as Remedy’s previous Max Payne releases, the gaming experience itself becomes a bit monotonous over time, with a bit too linear and convoluted lab rides characterized by one fight sequence after another, wrote our reviewer.
