With indignation, Fernando Salazar, owner of the Águilas Doradas club, reacted with indignation after Dimayor’s refusal to reschedule the match they have pending against Boyacá Chicó, where the teams that will remain in the first division of Colombian professional soccer will also be defined.

This team only has 7 players to appear this Sunday to play against the chess team, after they confirm that 18 members of the club, 14 of them players, were infected.

“Dimayor denied Golden Eagles’ request, arguing that: the Ministry of Sports indicates that the list of 30 dynamic players that enables the participation of amateur players. President Jaramillo, there is no U-20 youth cup to which amateur players are you referring? ”Salazar published.

In another video that he also published on social networks, Salazar also pointed out that in Pereira they did not comply with the stipulated times to take the PCR tests, before his match against Independiente Medellín where it is noted that several of his players were in the game infected with the new coronavirus.

“I reject from all levels the fact that the gentlemen have ignored article 2 of the regulations, which states that to play the matches you must have tests that do not exceed 12 days. The evidence delivered by Pereira had a date of more than 17 days. It cannot be that a championship, a title or a category is above the life that the Lord gave us ”, he closed in another video.

On the other hand, Águilas also spoke on his Twitter with a hashtag: #JuegoLimpio. In the published image, the club communicates: “Just a clamor, and not from 7, but from 50 million Colombians.”

Regarding this controversy, the president of Dimayor, Fernando Jaramillo, He pointed out that this was the case with 7 players, Águilas Doradas must appear this Sunday at the Alberto Grisales stadium of Ríonegro (Antioquia).

The leader made the statement in the First Touch program of Win Sports where he reiterated the refusal to reschedule the meetings, after the cases of covid-19.

“I know this is a difficult time, but if there are 7 players available, you have to show up with those 7 players. It is clear that whoever does not show up loses the points. I understand what is happening, but he has to present himself with all 7 players, ”said Jaramillo.

In that program he also referred to the situation of Pereira and the game played against Independiente Medellín.

“You have to start from good faith, see where the error was and what happened, there was a failure and you have to determine whose it was. We cannot allow the health of other players to be put at risk due to irresponsibility, So we are looking at who were responsible for this that should not have happened ”, said the leader.

However, the president of Dimayor stated that the ‘matecaña’ cast should have notified the situation.

“Pereira should have informed and that Dimayor made a decision, Even if they have been in the game for 40 minutes, it is determined whether the game stops or what we do. Timely information is one of the responsibilities of the clubs ”, he added.

Finally, Fernando Jaramillo referred to the Obligation of clubs in the country to monitor cases of the new coronavirus on their campuses.

“The protocol we have been following for a year is that the tests must be done every 12 days, there is a responsibility for the clubs to upload these tests to the system to verify them.
