This is exactly how much coffee your brain and body need! And it is also indicated in diseases, including of the heart

Do you like coffee, but try not to overdo it or drink cup after cup and wonder what could happen?

In fact, how much coffee should you drink in order not to hurt yourself and benefit from the antioxidants contained and the energy it offers you?

As most people drink coffee, it has been the subject of many scientific studies. The latest shows that four cups of strong coffee a day not only do not harm the body, but bring a lot of benefits, it shows Science Alert.

A study conducted in Germany by molecular biologists Judith Haendeler and Joachim Altschmied shows that this liqueur is truly magical for heart, if consumed in the right amount.

In experiments on guinea pigs, but also on human tissues, it was shown that, exposed to coffee, the cells inside the blood vessels behaved much younger, according to a report published by the prestigious journal PLOS Biology.

When consuming four to five cups of espresso, the effect is protective, which improves the body’s functions, one of the study’s coordinators, Altschmied, told Business Insider.

In fact, scientists have observed for years that people who drink coffee are less likely to die from a multitude of causes, such as pain heart, stroke or diabetes.

Two other recent studies support the same hypothesis: one in the United States for 400,000 people and another in Europe for half a million people. Both studies have shown that coffee drinkers are less likely to die from any cause, unlike those who do not drink coffee at all.

Low risk of cancer, cirrhosis, demented and depression

Research has shown that this drink decreases the risk of cirrhosis, cancer in general, dementia, including Alzheimer’s, but also depression. In addition, it is good for the heart – people who drink three or four cups a day have a 19% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease.

Therefore, according to one of the researchers involved in the study, Altschmied, people with heart disease should consume coffee, especially obese or prediabetic ones, because it greatly reduces the risk of heart attacks.

And if the taste is not to their liking, they can easily replace it with green tea, with similar properties.

It is important not to exceed the mentioned dose, because otherwise adverse effects may occur.

It is worth mentioning that cardiologists also recommend up to 6 cups of coffee a day, stating that the liqueur helps even in case of arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats. Under no circumstances, however, should it be consumed by cancer patients, because it seems that, in one way or another, it also nourishes tumors.
