Suara.com – India in the middle of an epidemic black fungus, a mysterious disease that has killed more than 200 people in India.
Well recently, a report from the Health Office Bangladesh said there was one citizen who died from the same infection.
Robed Amin, a spokesman for the related department, said that the patient who died was 65 years old.
“In total there have been three cases, with one identified death in Bangladesh,” he said, quoting Anadolu Agency.

The patient was known to have died three days ago, before finally the hospital confirmed that he died from a disease that has the scientific name Mucormycosis.
Previously, the patient was declared cured of Covid-19, and was undergoing outpatient treatment for kidney problems and diabetes.
This death strengthens the allegations of the experts who say black fungus infection prone to attacking people with weak immune systems.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Zahid Maleque asked people, especially those in the capital Dhaka, not to panic. Even though black fungus disease lurks, prevention can still be done to avoid infection.
“The elderly need to pay extra attention to this disease. I have instructed a number of pharmaceutical companies to immediately produce a yeast infection drug,” he said.

In India, black fungus infection has infected more than 10,000 people, with 200 of them died. Health authorities have linked this disease to the Covid-19 pandemic which is also a big problem there.
