Peaceful path for Hotma Sitompul and Desiree Tarigan in the middle of a dispute seems wide open.
Desiree is reported to have visited the National Leadership Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) Otto Hasibuan to become a mediator for himself and Hotma Sitompul.
Muara Karta as Hotma Sitompul’s attorney also confirmed that Desiree had asked Otto to mediate himself with Hotma. Hotma welcomed the offer of peace, which was called Muara Karta.
“This is just information that there is a good offer mediated by Mr. Otto Hasibuan. That Mrs. Desiree and Bams came to Mr. Otto to see how this situation could return to its original state, like family,” said Muara Karta when met in the Jakarta area, Friday (16 / 4).
“Mr. Otto then called Mr. Hotma and welcomed him well,” he continued.
However, if mediation does occur, there are special conditions proposed by Hotma Sitompul to Desiree.
Muara said that the mediation could not be attended by Hotman Paris, who is now believed to be Desiree Tarigan’s attorney.
“I tell Pak Hotma if you want to mediate without Hotman Paris, because why? Because it must be cloudy,” explained Muara Karta.
“Mr. Hotma has good intentions to accept Mrs. Desiree because that’s his wife,” he said.
Meanwhile, the place and time for the mediation took place not certain by Muara Karta. It only insisted that the mediation could not be attended by Hotman Paris.
“So when, where is the place, Mr. Otto Hasibuan will arrange it. But indeed I, as the power of Mr. Hotma, do not want Hotman Paris to come along, if possible Mrs. Desiree will withdraw power from Hotman Paris,” said Muara Karta.
