Fried chicken flour is a side dish that is most liked by many people. But unfortunately, fried chicken flour is also considered the worst food for the body. That’s because the layer of flour is fried in hot oil.
The process turns out to be able to change the nutritious protein in chicken meat, into unhealthy food. When frying chicken, the food absorbs a lot of fat, so the calorie content increases.
Even worse, frying food at high temperatures uses vegetable oil, such as canola oil or corn oil. This can form trans fats that can increase the risk of heart disease, cancer and obesity.
According to the Journal of Food Science and Technology, chicken skin also increases bad cholesterol, which contributes to plaque in arteries. This condition puts the body at a higher risk of heart disease and stroke.
