This iPhone 11 Pro stayed under the lake for 30 days and it still works!

Angie Carriere, 50, was fishing on Lake Waskesiu in Saskatchewan, Canada, when she dropped her iPhone in the lake. It was underwater for 30 days until he came back to collect it. And it works great when it’s active.

Carriere was celebrating her 50th birthday fishing on ice when a gust of wind blew her tent and, reacting to that, she ended up dropping her iPhone in the lake.

She initially gives up looking at the phone again, but remembers that all the photos from her trip are on her phone and she really wants it back.

So Carriere returned to the lake and with the help of some friends and a fish finder, he managed to find the sunken iPhone and pull it with a magnet.

Much to everyone’s surprise, the iPhone boots up and is fully functional.

Although this is not explicitly stated in News releases, the iPhone seems to be the iPhone 11 Pro. The model comes with an IP68 rating, which means the smartphone remains protected up to four meters for 30 minutes. However, Apple does not recommend submerging the iPhone for any reason.

However, this is not the first iPhone casing to last long under water. We’ve heard about the iPhone 11 and the iPhone XS also serves as a generous dunk.

However, of course, Apple does not officially support this situation for reasons of responsibility.
