Two years ago, coinciding with the 125th anniversary of José Martí’s fall in combat, in a meeting with representatives of the scientific pole at the headquarters of the Center for Neurosciences, the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, spoke with Cuban scientists and pointed out that regardless of the progress of other nations in the search for a coronavirus vaccine, it was important to get ours.
That scientific challenge and the work to face it became three vaccines and two totally Cuban vaccine candidates, which have allowed a successful fight against the disease and its different variants on the Island.
The BioCubaFarma group will mark the symbolic date with a meeting this afternoon at the José Martí Memorial, in which Cubadebate will present its interactive subdomain dedicated to Cuban vaccines against covid-19, after a joint development with Dofleini, the first officially constituted MSME in the country.
In addition to being an informative and interactive product, this is a tribute to Cubadebate to the Cuban scientists who gave a sovereign response to the persistent challenge of the pandemic.
Cubadebate will inform its readers about the presentation and access to the site on this website and our social networks
