He is a recruit of choice for the 21st season of Grey’s Anatomy. As revealed on Wednesday, October 16, the American site Deadlineactress Sophia Bush joins the series created by Shonda Rhimes. American viewers will discover his first steps in fiction in the episode called “2106”, which will be offered on the ABC channel on November 7.
“Grey’s Anatomy”: which character for Sophia Bush?
According to information from Deadlinethe unforgettable Brooke Davies of Scott Brothers will slip into the role of Doctor Cass Beckman, a friendly surgeon, very sociable but a little scattered. A character who will perhaps not be at the heart of sentimental intrigues, since he is already married to Doctor David Beckman, attached to a different hospital than his wife. As the site reminds us Deadlinethis is not Sophia Bush’s first role as a caregiver: in the CBS series Good Samshe played Samantha Griffith, an eminent cardiologist. Sophia Bush therefore joins a cast made up of actors, some of whom have been present since the very first seasons of Grey’s Anatomy, like James Pickens Jr (Richard Webber), Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt) and Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey).
“The Scott Brothers” will soon be back… or almost!
The next few months promise to be busy for Sophia Bush, who has other projects besides her participation in Grey’s Anatomy. Recently, we learned that the actress and her friend from the era of Scott Brothers, Hilarie Burton Morgan, reprized their roles as Brooke and Peyton for a spin-off series which will be offered on Netflix.
Actress Danneel Ackles, who played the character of Rachel in the 2000s series, should also be part of the project. The plot is expected to take place in the town of Tree Hill and revolve around the adult lives of Peyton and Brooke. Chad Michael Murray (Lucas Scott) and James Lafferty (Nathan Scott) have not been announced in the casting of this spin-off.
