The piece we want to talk about today is the elusive washing machine filter! Many believe that it is an interior piece or even self-cleaning, but this is absolutely not the case. Indeed, we will tell you more, many have never cleaned it and discover its existence too late, when the damage has already been done and you have to call the technician paying a rather large sum of money.
The washing machine filter usually it is located in a very specific part, in the lower one, on the right or on the left, while for those with loading from above, we could find it in the rear part. But how can we clean it? The procedure is very simple!

Just pull it from the special door, disassembling it. We will notice a really disgusting dirt, its role is precisely to collect impurities! After taking it apart, rinse it thoroughly under lukewarm water. Let it soak in a pan with hot water and bicarbonate for at least 30 minutes, after which, with an old toothbrush, we remove any residues. Let’s dry it and put it back in its special compartment. We will instantly notice a distinct difference in the washed laundry and we can assure you that the bad smells will be wiped out!
