The Pole’s success is not surprising because he has had a very successful season. Lewandowski scored 41 goals in the league, thanks to which he managed to break the record of a legend Bayern – Gerd Mueller. In total, in all competitions, Lewandowski played in 40 matches and scored 48 goals in them.
The results of the RL9 were appreciated by German journalists. Lewandowski won the vote with an overwhelming advantage. He received 356 votes out of a possible 563. The second place in the poll was taken by Thomas Mueller, who received 41 votes. 38 people voted for Erling Haaland.
