Television
NPO, RTL and Talpa are making a joint television program that will only be broadcast on NPO1 from 8.35 pm.
Chantal Janzen presents the special TV show. Jeroen Pauw and Eva Jinek have conversations with guests in the studio.
During the broadcast, there is a regular switch to the action center in Hilversum. There Hila Noorzai, Wendy van Dijk and Herman van der Zandt report on the course of the action and interview well-known Dutch people in the call panel.
Karsu and Frank Boeijen, among others, provide performances. Johnny de Mol made reports of actions in the Netherlands for the program in recent days.
The end result of the action day can be followed live on NPO, RTL and SBS6.
Radio
Radio stations also pay attention to Giro555. DJs from various radio stations are on the call panel in Sound & Vision. Special radio spots are also broadcast.
Radio station FunX is the national campaign channel throughout the day and kicks off the fundraising campaign at 5:55 am.
NPO Radio 2 will play 555 songs for the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria in the coming days. Listeners can request a record and donate to Giro555 since Thursday morning. The songs can be heard until Saturday 12:00 p.m.
On the online radio station NPO Sterren NL, various Dutch artists auction items for charity. For example, you can bid on a Toppers jacket by René Froger, a platinum record by Mart Hoogkamer, a dinner with Frans Bauer and Sieneke and you can go sailing with Wolter Kroes.
Concerts
The Amsterdam cultural village of Westergas will hold a benefit concert on Wednesday in collaboration with the True Art Of Giving foundation. Goldband, DI-RECT and Kris Kross Amsterdam, among others, took the stage that evening during the benefit in the Gashouder.
Frenna, Bilal Wahib, Sigourney K, Lakshmi, Iris Hond, Glen and Jaïr Faria, Raffie and Ammar Taher will also take the stage on Wednesday for the victims of the earthquakes. Eva Cleven and Eric Corton present the evening.
Radio station KINK and pop stage Hedon are organizing a benefit evening in Zwolle. Blaudzun, Paceshifters, Orange Skyline and the band Wodan Boys from The Hague will perform there. The cards of 10 euros and more are available via the Hedon website.
The concert starts at 7.30 pm and a ticket for the concert costs 27.50 euros.
