The death toll is rising after the violent volcanic eruption in Indonesia.
This happened last night:
- 13 people are so far confirmed the death after the volcanic eruption on Mount Semeru in Indonesia, according to a government spokesman. Several villages in Lumajang were covered in ash, and hundreds of residents have sought refuge in temporary accommodation centers. Among them are over 300 families from the village of Curah Keroban, where several houses were destroyed by lava and ash.
